WE ACHIEVED OUR TARGET FOR HIS FIRST YEAR! NOW WE ARE FUNDRAISING FOR YEAR 2!

Hourt Pesith is a 20 year old student in his final year high school.  Hourt Pesith is an aspiring IT professional.  He wants to start his own business by teaching computer courses and selling computers. He believes if you have a chance to attend university, he would have better life in the future.

His favorite subjects are literature and biology. In his free time, he likes reading and playing sports. After graduation, he wishes to go university to study IT at Phum Mean Phnom Penh University in Phnom Penh. In addition to this, he would like to take extra classes in English to gain more knowledge.

His mother, Vanny, has been working with CfC as a field worker for 6 years. Here, she has supported the CfC families in the production process. However her family’s living standard is similar to many of the CfC’s participants who live in Poipet. She said that “I’m very worry so much about my son’s future because I could not afford for him to go to university. What I can do is only supporting on cheap school uniforms, medical fees and school materials.” Since she comes from a poor family, and is unable to support her son she hopes that CfC and some generous donors are able to give her son a better chance at the future.

We have completed fundraising for his first year of university! the total costs of which total to $2000 p/year. This includes his tuition fee, basic living costs, and other study costs.
